Chocolate hazelnut cake
To make the cake you will need:
150g ground hazelnuts
250g flour
100g sugar
300ml hazelnut milk or almond milk
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
0.5 tsp salt
3 tbsp maple syrup
Topping
Dark chocolate
Ground hazelnuts
Preheat the oven to 160°c.
Start by mixing all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Then add the milk and maple syrup. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
Pour into a lined loaf tin.
Cook for 50 to 60 minutes until golden brown and your knife comes out clean.
Once cooled melt some chocolate. Pour onto your cake then sprinkle some hazelnuts
