Apple tart

Ingredients 

225g plain flour 
125g butter
100ml cold water
1 lemon
4 pink lady apples
1 to 2 tbsp sugar 


Method 

Place the flour in a bowl. Cut the butter into small cubes. Add the butter to the flour. Using the tips of your fingers rub the butter and flour together . Once mixed it should look like breadcrumbs . Next using a wooden spoon gradually add in the water and mix until the mixture turns into dough like pastry.
Tip the pastry ball onto a floured surface. Knead the pastry and using a rolling pin roll into a circle. Use a round baking tray and place the pastry into it. Next squeeze some lemon juice into bowl. Cut the Apples into skinny wedges. Place them in the lemon juice to stop them going brown. Then place them on the pastry. Arrange them in any design. Sprinkle the tart with some sugar.
Then place the tart into the oven at 150°c for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
